Welcome to Texas
Here you will find the Legal, Political and Social ramblings of proud Texans regarding recent news, events, and popular culture. Overly delicate wilting lily types may wish to mosey on elsewhere.
We strive to bring you some humor along with some facts, and most of all a clarity of cutting through the bull-crap that most other folks simply don’t or won’t do. That doesn’t mean we flip the whole darn table, but we do sometimes toss a few plates. Some things to note about our perspective:
First and foremost this is a place for proud Texans and Americans, and we wont apologize for either. Second, we tend toward the conservative side of politics. If you expect to find us, like most other outlets, playing footsie with radicals, you will be sorely disappointed.
They might go to hell, and I would go to Texas.
David Crockett, 1836
Mr. Crockett, born in Tennessee in 1786 managed to sum up the soon to be legendary Texan mentality in his ‘farewell’ speech to his Tennessee constituents. After he opposed Andrew Jacksons Indian Removal Act of 1830 he was subsequently defeated in an 1835 congressional election by Adam Huntsman. His opinion regarding this decision was never the subject of debate or speculation.
He became Texan by Adoption March 6, 1836,
the day he died defending the Alamo.

If the horse is game so am I, if the horse is not I pass on by.

I wear boots every day, as do a lot of folks. Hats depend, as they can be a pain to manage if youre not going to be outside. This means you spend a surprising amount of the day carrying them in your hand if you dont live on a ranch.
Are you really a Lawyer?
Sadly the actual trade of Lawyering… Just kidding, yes.
