I had this conversation with a contemporary (lefty) when he exclaimed; “Trump tore the country apart”. He was referring primarily to Trump’s tweets since he agreed there were many benefits for the country as a result of the orange man’s policies.

I’m old enough to remember the genesis of Twitter. They were so irrelevant over there until they got in bed with the MSM; where tweets became a part of every news cast – I’m using “news” figuratively. Today it is estimated that 80% of the Twitter content is from 20% of its users!

FWIW I used to live in CA – Got out before Jerry Brown and Gavin Newsome, phew!
